The Commercial Ambassadors Program (CAP) is a certificate program issued by the Greater Tampa REALTORS® for residential and junior commercial REALTORS® to promote education and encourage apprenticeship with experienced commercial practitioners (mentors) – once with the consent of pertaining brokerages. The purpose of CAP Next Generation is to prevent business losses by equipping the next generation of successful commercial REALTORS® through educational and practical tools that generally apply to commercial transactions and by introducing areas of specialization. In its third year, 2016 CAP will offer its popular ‘circle training’ classes, tours of commercial developments, and panel of experts programs, plus its newest component— Legal Update, led by top commercial real estate attorneys.

CAP Next Generation

CAP Next Generation is suited for residential agents who are curious about commercial real estate as well as for novice and junior commercial agents. CAP Certificate Program consists of 3 classroom trainings, each 3-hours in duration plus 3 two-hour Legal Update sessions– both scheduled once a month on the same day; at least 1 Commercial Pitch session; offsite development tours; and a panel of experts programs. There are no tests. Regular attendance earns you the CAP Certificate of Completion.

CAP Circle Plus

CAP Circle Plus trainings are led by industry leaders and arranged in a circlestyle setting to encourage active discussions and a dynamic flow of ideas among participants. Legal Update sessions cover trending hot topics as well as Q&A with a commercial attorney. Commercial Pitch is where the real pro’s “pitch” both their commercial listings and sellers/buyers needs to colleagues while building rapport and creating business … a great opportunity to learn from the pro’s. Tours of future developments for a real-life experience of commercial real estate are included in this year’s CAP as well as a Panel of Experts program comprised of urban developers and intercounty agencies. CAP graduates culminate the program with a Graduation.

LFeldman

Larry Feldman, CEO of Feldman Equities, LLC. Feldman together with Tower Realty Partners owns a handful of office buildings in the downtowns of Tampa and St. Petersburg, including the First Central Tower, Morgan Stanley Tower and City Center building in St. Petersburg and the Wells Fargo Center in Tampa. Feldman and Tower also are refining designs for Riverwalk Tower, a planned 52-story project (formerly Trump Tower) that will combine ground-floor retail, upscale residences and Class A office space into Tampa’s first mixed-use tower and the first downtown office building since 1992.

SNewmark

Stan Newmark, 2011 President of FGCAR/FGCAREP Klein & Heuchan. Newmark joined the Rutenberg Corporation as Executive Vice President, responsible for developing, constructing and leasing a 145,000 square foot industrial park as well as other projects. In 1990 Stan and his wife Enid, founded Put It Together, a senior citizen relocation service. He counseled and relocated over 3,000 senior citizens into retirement communities, primarily in Pinellas County, Florida. In February 2002, he joined Klein &Heuchan, Inc. Realtors as a Commercial and Investment Specialist.

TMarie

Tina Marie Eloian, CCIM, Broker-Owner. Eloian is known to some as the Queen of Ybor. She has also sold many commercial buildings within the Historic District of Ybor City as well as Channelside in Tampa. Involved in real estate at a young age watching her father develop residential and mobile home communities throughout Hillsborough and Pasco County. Her first Real Estate Venture was developing and selling the subdivision of Nature’s Reserve Located in Land O’ Lakes, Florida.

CFuentes

Carlos Fuentes, CCIM, CIPS, TRC. Fuentes has been involved in commercial and international real estate for the last 25 years, having earned the CCIM (Commercial R.E. Specialist), CIPS (International R.E. Specialist) and TRC (Transnational Referrals Certification) designations. His travels provide opportunities for international deals in the Caribbean, Latin America and the U.S., and successfully completed a significant number of 1031 Exchanges. He is certified as a CIPS instructor by the National Association of REALTORS.

Nancy Surak, CCIM, ALC Advance. With over 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Surak possesses a deep understanding of marketing and transactional expertise. Since 2005, she specialized in land brokerage in Tampa Bay and completed deals with notable companies such as Stiles, Sembler, M/I Homes, DR Horton, Standard Pacific Homes, Taylor Morrison, GreenPointe Holdings, K Hovnanian, Seminole Tribe of Florida, DevCo, SunTrust, BB&T, Coast Oak Group, Colonial Properties, Crosland, Landmar Group, Kitson & Partners and Duke Energy.
